Pink Pasta in minutes for four …
Place a large saucepan on the stove and fill with a kettle full of boiled water – add a couple of teaspoons of olive oil and four twists of freshly ground sea salt.
When the water is back to the boil add the entire contents from bag of pasta – you may need to drop the heat a little to avoid that pasta boiling over.
Cook normally until cooked but still firm, not mushy.
At the same time, on a low heat, put half a tube of tomato puree into a small saucepan, melt in the cheese, all of it, and finally you SLOWLY add the cream – KEEP STIRING so it doesn’t split. As soon as the ingredients are melted together, remove from the heat.
Again at the same time, pre-heat the over as detailed on the French bread packet and cook the bread.
Once the pasta is cooked rinse under hot water and return to the saucepan. Stir in the pink source until thoroughly mixed. Place in your preferred dinner table large bowl.
Serve with the green salad and hot French bread. At today’s prices it would be under £5 to produce a meal for four and the effort taken, just a few minutes.
The luxury version, for a dinner party where no visitors are driving, starts exactly the same as above. However, when the cheese source is cooling add four shots of vodka, or any other white alcohol, and mix with the pasta.
